Microtonal math-rock outfit operating out on the fringe where time signatures and intonation get weird on purpose — King Crimson, Don Caballero, and Battles all run through the DNA. The kind of band that exists because its members wanted to play music that nobody else could, and pretty much pulled it off. Acquired-taste-on-purpose; rewarding once the ear acclimates.
