About
Andre Tanneberger — German trance icon whose '9 PM (Till I Come)' (1998) was the first-ever electronic single to top the UK chart and is one of the foundational records of late-90s euro-trance. The tape-bent, wobbly guitar lead is one of the most-imitated synth riffs of the era; the catalog since ('Don't Stop,' 'Long Way Home,' the steady stream of mix CDs) has been one of the deeper and more consistent trance discographies in Europe. Less commercially loud than Armin or Tiësto but essential to the genre's foundation.
