Dave Grohl's post-Nirvana lifeline that became one of the biggest rock bands in the world. 'Foo Fighters' (1995, recorded almost entirely solo), 'The Colour and the Shape' (1997, the actual statement), 'There Is Nothing Left to Lose,' 'Wasting Light' (2011, recorded on tape in his garage). Taylor Hawkins was the heart of the band; we lost him in 2022 and the tribute concerts were as moving as any rock event of recent memory. They're still touring with Josh Freese on drums; the spirit is intact.
