'Hollywood Town Hall' (1992) and 'Tomorrow the Green Grass' (1995) are alt-country canon — the records that effectively bridged Big Star, Gram Parsons and what Wilco and Son Volt would do a few years later. The Olson-and-Louris harmonies are one of the great male duo sounds in modern American rock. Mark left, came back, left again. The catalog stands; one of the most consistently musical American rock bands of the past 30 years.
